Come for the History...
Stay for the Fun!

TRAINING AND SEMINARS

The two regions meeting at this Convention have a multitude of strong Certified Trainers to educate and facilitate information transfer among Sertomans. Have a topic of interest? Let us know and maybe we can include it.

We propose to provide optional pre-convention training to those persons who are in town on Wednesday -- some conventional, some a little more unconventional. Rumor has it that we may even have a ballroom dancing seminar on Wednesday afternoon for you "Dancing with the Stars" fans out there.. and an opportunity to show what you learned in the hospitality suites and the closing banquet.

SPEAKERS AND SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS

We have got some awesome plans for the opening session and closing banquet speakers. Unfortunately, if you ant to know more, you are going to have to attend to find out. But be assured, they will be events not to be missed.

SO, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
You know that you want to attend, so why not fill out an application today? if we receive it before Early Registration Deadline, you will be entered into a random drawing to have your registration fee refunded to you. That's right. Just make sure to register before June 1, 2007. Other early registrants may also receive additional perks. Who knows? Give it a try.. a $15 discount over the regular registration rate AND a chance to have your registration refunded or to win other valuable prizes. Don't delay.

WHY GETTYSBURG?

ACCOMMODATIONS

Located just a few miles north of the famous Mason-Dixon Line, Gettysburg also lies at the dividing line between Sertoma's Allegheny/Canada and Atlantic Coast Regions. This Convention represents an historic meeting of two strong Regions to share ideas, resources, and fellowship, hosted by a committee of experienced Sertomans from both Regions.

Gettysburg is more than rolling farm fields in South-Central Pennsylvania. It is an area steeped in history and culture with music, art, museums, shopping, and so much more. Gettysburg is a destination, and a perfect place for a family vacation.

Completed in the Fall of 2006, the Gettysburg Wyndham is the epitome of style and elegance. Located at the intersection of US 15 and US 30 in the Gateway Gettysburg Campus, it is easily accessible from Washington DC (78 miles), Baltimore (54 miles), and Harrisburg (36 miles).

THINGS TO SEE AND DO
There is no shortage of fun activities to keep you and your family entertained during free time.

  *  See how teddy bears are made at Boyd's Bear       Country,
  *  Enjoy the spring weather on the Adams County Apple       Orchards tour,
  *  Attend a tasting at the Adams County Winery,
  *  Visit the American Civil War Museum or stroll the       streets of downtown Gettysburg,
  *  Tour the Battlefields on an organized bus tour, on your       own with an audio CD, by bicycle, or even by Segway       tour!
  *  Go shopping at the many local shops and Gettysburg       Village Outlets,
  *  Dine at your favorite chain restaurant, or let one of the       local Sertomans recommend some place special that's       off the beaten path,
  *  Take in a concert at the Majestic Theater.

And don't worry, we've scheduled plenty of free time between Sertoma meetings and events so that you can take in the sights and spend time with your family enjoying the area.
